By accessing or playing BallStat ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. When you create an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You can play as an anonymous guest with no account. If you choose to register, you agree to provide accurate information and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. You must be 13 or older to create an account. One account per person.
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; harass, abuse, or threaten other players; post offensive or infringing content in chat or display names; attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the Service; use bots or automation to gain unfair advantages; or share your account. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
All BallStat content — game modes, questions, original artwork, badges, and software — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Trivia questions reference public facts and the names of athletes, teams, and leagues under nominative fair use; we do not use copyrighted photographs, footage, logos, or other media.
BallStat is an independent, unofficial product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any sports league, team, athlete, or their affiliates. Athlete, team, and league names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and appear solely as factual references. All questions and artwork are original creations.
Any display names, avatars, or messages you submit remain yours. You grant us a limited, royalty-free license to display that content within the Service (e.g., in lobbies, chat, and scoreboards) for the purpose of operating the game. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe others' rights. Content you submit is automatically screened for profanity and abuse and may be blocked or removed; we may remove reported content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Pro Mode is an optional paid upgrade processed by Base44 Payments (powered by Wix). Pro is a recurring subscription that automatically renews annually at $9.99 until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in the app's Settings — this turns off auto-renewal, and you keep Pro access through the end of your paid year with no further charges. Due to the digital nature of the product, Pro purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. If a payment fails to activate due to a technical error, contact us and we will resolve it. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Core gameplay is free. Points, badges, and shop items are virtual rewards with no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash. We may modify, retire, or reset virtual rewards at our discretion.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of virtual rewards, data, or gameplay.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
We retain your profile and gameplay data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → "Delete My Account & Data" — this immediately removes your profile, badges, points, career progress, and purchase records. Depending on your location, laws such as the GDPR and CCPA may give you additional rights to access, correct, or export your data; contact us to exercise those rights.
